Hi, I am returning to my home of 2019 (Manguzi) sometime next week or the week after (sometime between 22 and 29 March). I am pretty flexible about when I leave because I work remotely as a programmer, so all I need is a laptop and an internet connection, so can continue to work in Cape Town until the trip departure date.
It is about a 20 hour trip which I aim to split into 7 days. I plan to ride in the early mornings, then work during the week days.
I will reply with route ideas. I want to see if I can ensure decent internet from mobile networks along the way.
I know this might not be as glamorous as other trips, but it is something I will probably do alone if no interest (or if I decide it is unwise to go alone, I might put the bike on transport to Durban, fly there and do the last 4hrs by bike until I get home)
I have a Kawasaki KLR 650, so I don't plan to be racing!
