Wwwhaha. My first off. A water crossing in the karoo. What's the odds so I stopped to take pic as a sort of a lag. It was still and a centimeters deep. Didn't about it. Till I crossed. Slip splat! Moss is slippery shit. So when I stopped laughing I took these. Enjoy

The karoo is epic. Found a bit of fence by chance in my tire. Thank the lord for the mitas!!! No puncture. Made it to fort beauford. Mission finding a camp site, all disgusting expensive or full. Hot and a bit pissed. Stopped for a few beers after site 3 was a no go. Booked into oasis hotel. Sitting in front of the aircon now. Coming into town on the main road and my gps recons hook a left up that path in the last pic. Me being a die hard thought WTF. Took me 20 grueling minutes to get up that!!! Loose rock. Came to a standstill 4 times ended up sliding back down wheels locked each time. Igave it gas and spun a little further each time. Hard work after 500ks not easy.

View at the top and back down again. Just for the record That wasn't 4 attempts from the bottom. It was one attempt but in for stages. I went up slide back down 4 times but managed to keep it upright and clutched it to get momentum . I was well buggerd after that. No valiant attempts of going straight to ladismith.
