While replacing my klr doo with an eagle mike item from doc klr some time ago I noticed that not much adjustment was left on the balancer chain and I assumed that it was due to chain stretch as at that time the spring was broken and me loosening the adjusting bolt during regular service would obviously have the opposite effect to tightening the system However on receiving another doo from doc last week to fit to a mate`s klr I compared the two and noticed that the eagle mike have in fact less positive and more loose adjustment when centering both. My question is why are the two centers a different cut? Any ideas? In the meantime I have bought a new balancer chain for future fitment which may not be necessary! Photo attached.
