There was plenty going on here. Stallietjies, braai vleis, beer and inquisitive farmers

Very modern filling facilities in Rooiberg. Once he has thrown in the petrol, he pulls out the calculator, works out how much fuel is left in the tanks to complete his stocktaking at the same time  ;D

Close to the farm, ChrisB and myself waiting a the turn for nobody to pitch, so we promptly left.

It was great to put faces to forum names, meet some of the characters that reside here and have a good weekend with like minded riders.
Looking forward to the next one O0

Thanks to everyone it was a great one.Two important lessons were learned:

1. Never put camelback in tent at your feet.It will leak water and you will get wet.
2. Never wear skimpy under ware with riding pants.Your ass will get chafed. ;D

Now for the BIG ONE in November! .... just do not expect white tablecloths though.

Looks like you all had a great time at a really well organised event!

Thanks for the ALL the pics >:D, and hope that those dogs you came off are all feeling OK.

Morning to you all!

I want to say a very BIG thank you for this wonderful weekend which I really enjoyed very much.  :)
I did learn a very hard and "sore" lesson after my 'silly' fall as I was a bit too slow to avoid my mistake. Excuse me, I am still learning the gravel 'world'. I can't wait for my Devil to come out of hospital where she is going today and ride as soon as she is better. And I will be going to Zwartskop Off-road Intro Training as soon as it is available to improve my skills.  ;)

Sorry Ama, I am giving you lots more grey hair but thank you for supporting me all the way. :love2:

Thank you, the Bloem couple for being there after my silly fall.  :)

Thank you, guy and lady with combi & trailer (sorry, for not knowing your names) for your assistance with my beloved Devil and taking her to hospital.

Very glad to meet Red, Meina Moo, Supergirl and "Miranda"? (helpful, tall lady) and many more! Hopefully we will ride together more often in future.  :D

Peaches, I am really sorry for not meeting you properly at the Bash (hopefully oneday) and I heard lot about you and admire your riding that 1200GS.

Plothond, thank you too for your wonderful organising the Gauteng bash.  :)

Plothond - are you available to organise other get togethers ?

;D  - I'm sure the next event down south will be even better   :)

BTW - Gauteng doggers (and 1 Vrystater) have beeeg appetites. Two sheep - enough for 70 were polished by 55 people

And ordentlik too. We broke only 1 plate and one glass - thanks for that. I had visions of buying the hire place.

HHHusky & JM - I still got your drinks change - PM me your address and I'll drop it off. AMA - I'll drop yours off with the bike

54 people, I must confess to having to go for a lie down before supper was served, missed out big time!!!
