A friend of mine has purchased an old vfr400, and as it was previously apparently a track bike, it has inverted/GP/racing/whatever you'd like to call it shifting. So to click into first gear, you shift up, and the rest are down.
Is this a fairly simple thing to fix, or does it require a professional?
I guess I'm asking so I know whether I'd be able to help him out, or if I should send him to the bike shop to get reamed.
I know there are YouTube videos, but I'm at work, in a factory, so sound is not available.
Thanks
