Herminator you know that it's not easy to stay clean of drugs, in fact it can be very hard if not almost impossible. But you have done the ONLY and correct thing (It appears)- you have asked Jesus Christ into your life. If you abide in Him you WILL be set free from your addictions. I too am an addict and an alcoholic but 15 years ago I made the decision to allow Christ into my life and have been sober since and clean for 13 years.

The 'world' is scared of Jesus because they see Him as a ball and chain with only 'do's' and 'don'ts'. Satan is the father of lies and uses that philosophy to its maximum. Jesus sets us free and in Christ we are free indeed. I dwelt for a long time in the very dark underworld of anti-society but know live in the light and glory of Christ my Lord. I have seen both sides and will with my whole being state that there is no better place to be than 'in Christ'.

Hi Herminator, thanks for sharing. Around July each year the Reformed church just  outside Marico has the Safarikarnaval, a bushveld bazaar of note. Watch the "planning a ride" fred, Thys Basson normally sends a reminder. Not only is it for a good cause, it's also a chance to experience wonderful hospitality. Methinks we should organise a massive ride there in 2013 and really support them.
