Short RR for Introduction Trip - WC - 16th Aug

As the Intro say. That is what we did in the Overberg area. About 250 km from Botriver to Greyton, Caledon and Grabouw. Mostly gravel. We kept the ride to a nice and slow pace for the newer riders to get use to gravel. I think after today they will definitely ride more gravel.

I had a great time and made some good friends today. Thanks to everyone who attended.

Upfront a roadblock by sheep!!!

We were all very hungry by now as the ride took a lot longer than anticipated. And 2km before Greyton voila. They sure know where to stop you. Two naughty dogs got fined. ( left license at home  ???) Bus charmed the shocks of the lady cops and they didn't even look at his bike.  :mwink:  I think he has got a date with the chief.  :imaposer:

Little water crossing and some steep uphills just to get the newbies use to some uneven terrain.

The last little section was a short alternative route.

Wat n lekker dag in die Overberg. Dankie aan al die Wilddogs wat opgedaag het en die trip meegemaak het  :thumleft:

Ek is nie so gekonfyt om die byskrife by die fotos te sit nie, maar ek nommer hulle met die nodige beskrywings  

1. Aangename kennis ....... my naam is RovRat
2. Boere se nuwe Vara
3. Bus is nie hier nie, hy het n boodskap gelos
4. Lewensgevaarlike toestel ................. glad nie vir Newbies nie ;D

En hier is n wettige roadblock en nadat ek n paar fotos geneem het, word ek deur die spietkop aangepraat omdat "this a restricted area and I will put you and your camera away"  :imaposer: Die polisie het geen probleem met fotos gehad nie  ???

1. Roadblock
2. Sekere mense wat gewoonlik met die "officers" stelle aftrap. "Hier is my lisensie edelagbare"
3. Hier is n omkopery aan die gang
4. So ja....... daar is alles uitgesorteer.

En hier het Oom Foe-rie ; Basset en Uiltjie hulle skooljare begin. Ons het daar begin as Sub A leerlinge en klaar gemaak as Standerd 5 leerlinge. In die saaltjie het Vader Krismis vir ons persente gebring en ons het lekker skoolkonserte gehou
