As my heading asks , Is Dullstroom still alive ? Had a look at somewhere to go in Gauteng , Magalies seems to be the most attractive but also expensive and less than a hours ride to get there . So this got me thinking why not Dullstroom ?Depart Saturday morning , use back roads and ride to Dullstroom , Yes I am aware its cross border , but I am gatvol and need an recharge ride :ricky: , good for the soul !!!
Options are to go via Stoffberg and Steenkampsberg pass to Dullstroom or use this route back on Sunday .
But to do this one needs to know that the place is still alive sort of , Dullstroom has always been a pitstop place , but with Covid , it must be taking a beating , and no beers to be had
