Today Teresa and I started our two week tour of the Free State and Cape.
The plan is to have a rest, enjoy ourselves, and ride as much as we want to.
Photographs will have to wait until we get home to a reliable Internet connection with adequate band width.
This is another episode in our plan of having a Honeymoon each year, at about the time of our wedding anniversary.
We had a late start, as expected, so the morning was warm and sunny.
Today's ride was an easy one down the N1 to Bloemfontein, almost six hours of perfect weather, light traffic, and courteous drivers. The wind was a bit gusty but not particularly heavy at any time, temperature about 20 degrees with little light cloud.
Our friend Wimpy fed us well.
We are now in the guest house "At Home" in Bloemfontein, a warm and biker friendly home from home where we have stayed before: corner of Koos van der Walt Street and Gannie Viljoen Street, Universitasrif, Bloemfontein. 082 556 2223 , 082 954 2565 .
I expect to have another leisurely start tomorrow with us going towards Kimberley and south.
