So some time ago the Freestate WD's decide they are going to have a get together every 3nd month or so , so the guys and gals could get to know each other and enjoy nature as much as possible. Some people think the Freestate is boring and dull, but no way....
This time around Dustrat organised the loveliest farmhouse about 20km's from Clocolan for a stay-over for the bunch...... :thumleft:
8 guys = Dustrat, Emiel, Twister, HabaHaba, flying dutchman, Piet, Wimpie and Harm
3 Ladies = Lourika (flying dutchman's wife), Milkybar and Lorraine (Emiel's wife)
and 6 kiddies!!!!!
We met at Engen Bloemfontein on the N8 and left for Clocolan district! About 15km on the highway the guys turned of on the Verkeerdevlei turnoff to experience the gravel on their way to our destination......Groenkloof guestfarm! :ricky:
An hour later flying dutchman experienced a flat tyre and with no extra tubes, they were stuck for a while while the sun was setting quickly in the west! (hopefully Dustrat will post some pics) ???
After us ladies got lost (Again....) we made it to the guestfarm only to find the guys already unpacked and having something to drink. The bakkies and car were unpacked in a hurry because these guys were as hungry as wolves!
Steaks, braaibroodjies, salad was served for dinner and all went to bed arounf 11'o clock......they had to rise early Saturday because they wanted to be back for the big rugbymatch!
