Hey all. i know this route has been beaten to death but I would like some feedback on our chosen route. Myself (riding pillion on 1200GS) and some friends (800GS's - Jackol!-, maybe S10 with pillion-Aubrey-) plan to ride Sani. But long weekends are few and far inbetween so we would like to get the max out of this trip.
The plan is to ride Friday (21 march) From Kimberley to Katze dam via Caledonspoort. Sleep there, then do Sani Saturday and see if we can get all the way again to Clarens. Maybe include Nottinham road, De Beers pass and Normandien pass and of course Golden gate if I have a say.
From Clarens to Kimberly I dont know how to make it interesting, any suggestions?
Please give inputs as to what is feasible and not, also what nice areas we should add as its a minimal detour?
