:ricky: Route looks an awesome one! We're doing Eastern Cape, Baviaans, De Hel etc later this year and Lesotho the year after. Did anyone map your Lesotho route? :dousing:

That would be me.....

PM me your email address and I will gladly forward you all the mapped routes.
Healing slowly thanks, gonna be a loooooong (poetic licensed used here!)road to recovery!

Pantjie on the KLR. is inly pushing down on the outside foot peg cause at that stage he still had one.  :imaposer:  As we got through the post and quite a nice ride down,(video to follow), we picked up the pace to Matatiele. I saw the KLR pull over and Pantjie with head down and hands on chest. I turned rount and caught up, only once his head gear came off, he could talk. Slow left hander at 100kph outside footpeg broke clean off. KLR's is a very tuff bike but funny shit breaks off.

Pete, a couple of pics of the 3 hours of twisty's that I missed?? Please, I was after all in Queenstown for your Mitas and not just my Heidenwhat?

Said goodbye at Matat after lunch at Golf culb. Headed for Mcclear to find my brother from another mother on his HGS (heavy geen sand)  Great nite of Skuim koppies and fillet steak. Off tho Willowmore at then Doodles for a double trip ender.

This is what 100 Horse power does to a Mitas and X-ring in 4000km.

I have to add how proud I am of my old man, Pete Snr!
He is pushing 70 and rode a 800 km day in 40 plus heat (with several hundred of those on gnarly Eastern Cape dirt)
and without a Camelbak  :thumleft:

To quote Two Stroke Dan..... " A 990 throws rocks like a metalstorm weapon!"

Evidence of the damage a 990 can do when following as the official cameraman  >:D
