Limpopo makes me moist.

Around mid morning we were all hot and tired from falling over, picking up bikes and just constant technical riding.

Cooling off in the crystal clear water

This crossing had a sizeable step down into more rocks

Looking at your pics I’d say it’s more or less the same except most of the cement on the bridges have been eroded

Would’ve been tough! [emoji12]
Even the 990 struggled a bit on our trip.
The climb out of the valley probably toughest part with a big bike. Plenty switch backs and extremely rocky and rutted

The climb out of the valley was hectic. Very rocky and lots of switch backs. I was at the back with Dwerg and could hear the 990 screaming to get up that pass. I didn't stop to take pics on the way up, but [member=24549]MonkeyNot[/member] has some footage on the Virb that may show me buying a piece of land on that pass......

VIRB mounted on my helmet.
[member=9149]Dwerg[/member] riding in front of me going down Orrie and [member=24549]MonkeyNot[/member] in front of him.

I dropped my bike on the climb out of the valley. The side stand came out as the bike slid down the hill. I was riding at the back and it took a bit of head scratching and some sweat to get the bike upright again

Next up was a ride through Pine forests to the Iron Crown. This is the highest point in Limpopo at approx 2100m. We were about 5km from our lunch destination of Haenertsburg, but had to do about 40km of dirt to get there......

Tricky little off camber climb with a few small step ups thrown into the mix going up to the view point
