So all my mates are into motor-x or super bikes.
I seem to be the only one wanting to explore the more out of the way places and make a weekend out of it.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to where/how/why?
Ideally I would like to do a weekend camping trip every 4-6 weeks or so to destinations within about 200 to 400km from Johannesburg. I am open to longer rides once in a while.
My KLR is in a few pieces for now so would be using my CRF250L.
Although I grew up riding bikes I took a 20+ year break and only recently got back in the saddle so I consider myself a beginner once again.
I would definitely not be in a hurry to get anywhere - I want to enjoy the ride and the view along the way.
My other interests include aviation (PPL holder), photography and craft beer (sampling - not so much the brewing).
