Making a custom seat.... any tips?

Shortly after getting my 800, I got the comfort seat.

I have now stripped the standard seat and bought a bunch of high density foam.

I want to make my own version of the comfort seat, but give myself a bit more room by moving the step in the seat back a couple of centimeters.

I am using a jigsaw to cut the foam and plan to use an anglegrinder to shape the foam.

Any tips or pics would be very welcome if someone on the forum has done something similar...
