Pack Dog
This is my first RR, so please bare with me:
The Mission: Matroosberg, Ceres
The Recruits: skedonkie, Wolf, Bessie, Zool and Attie
The Machinery: KLR, X-Challenge,X-Challenge,X-Challenge, 950
There's not much to say other than what the photo's can show. All of us made it through the first section up to the saddle where the view down the valley is breathtaking. Zool an I made it to the way top. On the way down Attie joined Zool to do the 4x4x4 loop. Well done to them!
The damages: Between the five bikes: Windscreen, Gearshifer, KLR Radiator plastic cover thing, Bashplate(plastic), indicator, exhaust, radiator leak, two swollen ankles, some confidence.
The rewards: Awesome time, great views, lots of skill building on the spot, more confidence.
The final verdict: It may result in some damages, but it's worth it! If you're well prepared and worked on your skills a little, you should be able to make it without serious damage.
The evidence: Sadly, there are only videos of some of the really cool sections. Will try and post links later.
