Laat kom die res! Ek is hoeka lus vir Namibie toe ry.

First day was a long one.  Crossed the border and pitched the tent about 2km from the gravel road and camped there for the night.  The following night was at Luderitz and met 4 guys and we decided to ride together for the next 3 days.

very interesting !!! :thumleft:

Here are a few more pictures.
The cheapest petrol was at Sesriem, don't know why.  The Camping at Sesriem was blerry expensive!  The only advantage for staying at Sesriem is that you get the opertunity to be at Sossuvlei at sunrise.  The gates only opens after sunrise for the rest of the people.

lovely pic's u posted & RR - i love the vast open spaces in NAM, very special place!

Could you tell us a bit about the route you took?

I'd like to do Nam next year, and possibly go solo as well.

I roughly planned a route, but didn't booked any accomodation.  I decided to handle every day as it comes.  I really did the whole trip on my gut feel and it turned out to be the best time ever!!  It is very safe and the people is VERY friendly!
This is the planned route:

Well done on taking the pig through that sand to the dunes at Sossusvlei. Not easy to do.  :thumleft:

And yes. Sesriem camping apparently has gone through the roof ito of pricing.

Lekker trip and pictures! 8)
