old idea, but now with pictures!

Going to the Buff next weekend, and need to keep my cellphone charged whilst camping, for business calls
(I have a guest house business - one missed call, and clients call next guesthouse on the list......).

So bought a Powerlet pre-pack for the 1150 from TopBox/ADV Rider,
used a size 16 wood drill (carefully),
dremelled out the hole 1 or 2mm bigger (size 17 drill bit not available to me)
fitted the Powelet socket in the pre-assigned spot,
cable tied the wiring to the bikes own loom
et Voila!
(hmmn, seems I'm missing the rubber 'shroud' that fits over the wiring plug - Badget bought the near-identical kit for his 1200GSA, and it came with...)

Now I have power to handlebar area, rather than power to footpeg area! :imaposer:
