We decided to take a break in a shady part of the pass and wait there for James to catch up.

After about 30 minutes, we started hearing a bike coming up the pass. It would stop every now and then, stay quiet for a while and then start up again. Soon James appeared around the bend and we were all relieved that he arrived in one piece....... well sort of  ot:

James toppled over a couple of time and punctured the pod on the 1200 GSA. Luckily he had some KTM tape to repair the damage  eepwall:

Thomas once pulled us out of the Kloof below Bohm Zeederberg with his Landy - ask him about that hangover.....

Last time I did Orrie, I was on a 650L - i was samned glad i didnt take the GSA -  :thumleft: to all them that took the big Beemers!!

I haven't seen a lot of GS850's around here but I must say it's a good looking bike and I love the rim design. I am a bit soft, prefer tubeless  eepwall:
