I took the 500x on a test ride for a week or 2 on and off road, I was keen to see if we had the same reaction to the bike

Perfect. The rider battled a bit

It shined on the open sections, sand, whoops, jumps, g-outs/river crossings at speed. Knocked me around a bit in rocks when things got down to walking pace but slow rocks is my worst. Always has been
