After my mom passed away recently, I was sorting through her stuff and came across these photos from the late '70s.
Please excuse the photo quality, most of them have gone very brown.
My first Vespa (80cc), bought when I was in Std 8 for the princely sum of R25. It ended up yellow.
This one (125cc) was bought for R150. Was a very pale blue so I just made it a little darker. The completed yellow one is in the background.
The last one was a P200E. The only one that didn't need any work. Here's a pic of all 3 together.
These pics from '79. Bought this Ford Escort 1300 Mk1 for R300 from the Catholic nuns in Melmoth.
Motor was MT ....
So I ripped it apart...
Altogether ...
