congrats on breaking the renthal bars.
i have tried on a number of bikes,  and never got it right.

Try harder :imaposer:

I suspect dropping the bike with a full 30l fuel tank on my recent Baviaanskloof trip aided in this endeavour  :-[

Great spirit when all goes wrong. Congratulations and thanks for the great report.

And the cold likely also played a role in making them a little bit more brittle.

Thanks for sharing, Ri! I really enjoyed it! (And well done on your McGyver-fix!)

NOT a diss or anything, but those bars are aluminium, I have used it in cryogenic service, no ambient cold is going to fuss it.  :sip:

Always enjoy your RRs.
Your resolve and resilience are remarkable

Dankie Ri. Bly jy is OK.
Wonder net hoekom jou fiets so swerve?

Wow! one brave, tough and technically make a plan lady! Well done!  :thumleft:

Ek vermoed my banddruk was heeltemal te hoog.

My VStrom used to get a nasty shake like that until I maxed the pre-load on the rear shock.

You are one very tough, determined motorcyclist, but, you ignored the most important part of your toolkit-a riding buddy.I will never ride long distance gravel, with no comms,on my own.

Another thread asks :-

What defines a good adventure bike rider?  THIS DOES!

Amazing Ri, big respect!  :notworthy:
