Recently bought my second F800 a couple weeks ago. I'm halfway through a trip and finding that I'm sitting lower and lower on the bike.
The 800's are renowned for being tall bikes and at 5"11 my toes are usually just on the ground (unloaded). Right now my feet are flat on the ground - comfortably.
I had a similar problem with my first 800. It actually sat so low the bike was starting to look like a roadster.
This with a topbox and sometimes a bag and/or panniers.
The new bike is a standard 2013 model.
I've fiddled with the preload going both ways to as far as it would click over - normally I would set it quite high for the extra load.
So, I'm willing to admit my ignorance, but either my spring is shot or I'm doing something wrong. Clockwise - is going to raise the preload?
