Been back for 10 days and not started the RR

Looks that way but there were over 200 horses there , not a person in site.

I first parked about 100 m away then rode right next 2 them they were mega friendly

They are very "rustig"...part of their survival technique.

A couple of years ago me and my wife crossed the Namib on horses, and were joined for part of the way by a lady doing her doctors thesis on the subject.
One need to speak to her to fully comprehend the hardship the horses has to contend with.

@Hayleyscomet..seeing so many together is indicative of good annual rains.

Looking forward to the RR..I think you will appreciate these, having just been there.

I believe that lady doc is the one that had sent some of those horses to Onderstepoort and they
found that none of them have a DNA link to the horses that Baron Herman Van Wolff of Schloss Duwiseb
have bred and left behind after he was deported.

Sorry for this Hijack Wayne but you started it and thank you for that!!! :thumleft:
