End of April 5 guys riding dirt CPT Springbok into Southern Namibia via Walvis to Windhoek and back to CPT . Hoping to get some good advice on where to stay in affordable BnBs . Good dirt without too much thick sand. Places to see. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Update - we stayed at the following places - all adequate for our needs and we would go back again.
Frontier River Resort - on the Orange River close to Vioolsdrif
Helmeringshausen Hotel - claim to have best Apple cake in Namibia
Weisenfel Guest Farm - very helpful and accommodating owners
Spitskoppe Rest camp - beautiful but self catering is misleading - more like self sleeping.
Schweizerhaus hotel Swakopmund - lovely German hotel
Desert Quiver camp - Sesreim - top class self catering
Bahnhof Hotel Aus - after the D707
Port Nolloth Country club
