On the way back to Mountain Aloe Den, Mark took us up a seriously steep climb to a beautiful lookout point. I made a mistake at the foot of the climb and lost momentum. No way to get going again so only option was to turn around on the steep slope and start again. I lost my footing while turning the bike around and dropped the bike in a big hole. I drained all my energy to try and get it out.  :patch:

From what I can make out, the guys held each other and looked at flowers while I was down at the foot of the climb, struggling to get my bike upright  :peepwall: :peepwall:

It started raining soon after our arrival back at Mountain Aloe. A decision was made to cancel the next day's ride. Colon had some urgent business to attend to in JHB, Mark's bike was overheating because of the holed radiator and the weather prediction for the next day was looking bleak....

We made our way to the kitchen where Mark cooked up a storm. We had a few beers, a few good laughs and overdosed on meat  :3some:
