I was filled with A LOT of apprehension for this ride...
1. I was riding with a group which I loathe (not the group, but the group riding ;D )
2. We were going to do more technical stuff than I cared for...
3. Was still getting used to the 640 and wanted a chilled ride, which wasn't going to be the case.
Anyway, the Friday morning arrives and away we go!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Out on the Cradock road, take a left towards Somerset East and stop off at Teuns se Winkel, then through to the dam and some kloof where we refueled at a farmstall near Wolwefontein. I was having fun and not even the slowest in the group (which of course changed when it became slippery and technical and I came in dead last that night haha)
