Waar is daardie goed plaaslik beskikbaar?

Ek stem ook saam oor die "more fun in a gallon of gas" konsep. My V6 Pajero het hom puik gedra oor byna 4000km vakansie trip.

In 12mm staan daai rubbers 50mm hoog en my kar is klaar hoër as gewoon.

great stuff G man
reminds me a bit of my parents travels with their sidecar , ( in scotland nogal)

my wee worry is that single rear GS wheel on the car , is it not taking too much load , car, wifey and luggage , and then of course your lekker U turns against that wheel ( eg right hand turns)

i would prefer to see a solid rim on there
but i could be wrong

No you are right. And it goes for the bike wheels as well. Lots of side thrust in turns especially front. My people say one has to have the spoke tension checked regularly.

I will in time change to car wheels

Interesting statistic though. Side car wheel bears 30% of the gvm, bike rear 50% and front only 20%.

Vandaar dit net so gehou.

Dunno about that.  Had mine on for a good couple of years with almost extreme riding and then also had a trip or two with 3 up.  No probs with the sidecar wheel, also no problems with the spoke tension.  I heard about the spokes story and check mine on a regular basis.  Nada up to now.  But don't take my word for it, I am no technical guru, I only know what works by practical testing it.  :eek7: :lol8:
