Ted Simon said the interruptions make the journey.  On the gravel road to Struisbaai the belcrank snaps at the pivot point and the suspension collapses. And I learn another thing... the sidecar comes to a control but sudden stop. The monkey takes it in her stride, looks down and says "Something is wrong"  :lol8:

The part was suspect, but I hoped fornthe best. On other builds I saw the okes use moerse pieces of steel but I thought nah, over engineered and just used the one I did the mock up with. Sidecar build 101. There is no such thing as over engineering.

As my good planning always works out, the break down happens near a farmhouse. While I set about getting the belcrank off Lyn goes to check if they have the tools I need.

They do and as Briv would put it, after using the correct size hammer and 'repurposing' some scrap metal, we are sorted. Hour later and we good to go.
