I need new tyres. Done 30k km on a Heidi front, but only 5k km on a Mitas 08 rear, whilst having always done in excess of 12k km on Heidi rears. So no more Mitas for me. They are too expensive per km. Heidi ...... well, don't know. I've never had one that does not lose air, so always necessary to pump them back up before every ride.
How are the Pirelli trail/ MT90 on service life compared to others? I ask because I see they are at least R1k less than most other brands.
I don't use real aggressive tyres. At best I've used a "semi knobbly" e.g. Heidi K60 front and then an ordinary duallie tyre e.g. Mitas 08 tread pattern rear.
Suggestions? Comments? Experience? Best Prices?
Fitment is a schlepp. Nearest is CT, so I'd rather take the wheels and buy and have the tyres fitted in one place.
