Baie lekker Deon.....  :thumleft:

I was sukelling to remember if that pass is "Collin's" or "Colling's".

I dug up this old photo from last year's Newcastle trip, but they could have painted the sign wrong.

Lekker report and photo's Deon. :thumleft:

That area is still on my to-do list.

Chuck those deathwings and put on some TKC knobblies. The cash outlay for the tyres could be off-set by the potential damage that could occur to the bike if you drop it.

Beautiful part of the country - all the green mountains, love it - nice RR  :ricky:

Definitely "Colling".  He was the British military genius that masterminded Majuba for them.

Thanks for that - always great to know the names and how they came to be.

I was at school with a Chinese guy with the same surname (although he may have spelled is Kolling?)

Was from a very old and affluent KZN Moienese (spell?) - Played prop for Natal - Only guy of Chinese decent to play provincial rugby ?

DeonDJ - are you still keen on doing this trip again next weekend (Saturday 28th)? ???
