Day 8 (Matroosberg to Knysna) 489km

Was probably one of the coldest evenings I ever experienced, but luckily there was hotwater showers etc. Very nice place to camp: www.matroosberg.com

The closest we came to the darkside was the inside of our tents  :imaposer:

Would do a trip like this again,  just would take a lot less luggage with next time.

Dis regso laat weet maar. Screen het gehou tot by die matroosberge, toe ductape ek hom maar tot bydie huis

The 1150 GS did extremely well even in the sand with a pillion. Another very capable scoot was the KLE, the twin got much longer legs than the rest of the thumpers.

Excellent RR & pics ... thanx for sharing ... did a bit of your trip (same & similar routes) in Sept :3some: Camping at the river in Pella was a great experience.

ps sometimes the good 'ol film cameras can still take some of the most awesome pics  :thumleft:  :thumleft:  ... albeit a little grainy.

Great trip guys, MM I was in Sutherland last weekend and saw you DRZ looking all sorry for itself in the garage , hope it is not too serious . 

No , not serious at all!! Got brand new coil on Thumper talk and will have it up and running by the weekend and ready to ride!!! :thumleft: I was very lucky, no damage what so ever!!! The meccie tunes me that the engine is in tip top shape ,so I am really stoked that everything has worked out well! Shot KK
