First event attended by me with Wild Dogs.. Good bunch of guys... and gals.. (",) Thank you to all who participated and were involved in the organising of this event.. Nice one guys..

I would have liked to have put more faces to names but us getting there late and missing actually meeting everyone, didn't help matters much...

A Huge thank you to Powerflow Justin, who rode an extra 600 plus kilos to get me up and running after a rectifier on my scoot fried and diddled the battery in the process.. He experienced real rain and the spectacularly expert driving ability of our road users and was often put at risk during the ride.. Many thanks buddy.. More appreciated than you think...

Thanks Pete for organising another successfull event.
And to the Reccie riders and friends that helped manage the ride , many thanks , all back to camp safely

It was good to meet all the new WD and see all the new YAMMY`s !
Thanks to the group that rode up with me to Carlitzdorp on Thursday !Pity Heddles KTM had problems , But a big UP T0 Powerflow Justin who rode back to Cape Town from Geysmanshoek Pass ( Other side of Heidelberg ) in the dark and then only to do the same 300 km back in the poring rain in the morning !  In True Wilddog Fashion !!!

Apologies  to the Riders I overtook on the ride , in the dust , was just trying to get some good video footage !

Thanks To Sprocketbek and his team for organising the excellent photography , and thanks Pure Orange for bringing the back up bakkie and trailer along too !
Oh , and sorry to have woken everyone up at 04h00 for the ride on Sat/ Too much Enthusiasm clouded my eyesight . Lol !!!

Definitely think we must do some sort of intro.. T shirts, pictures, something.. I realise now that I have communicated with a lot of guys here and they were at the bash, yet I didn't know who they were to chat to them...

Dam...how far did you get?
not even 10km's... the noise suddenly escalated to a loud, consistent clatter.
pulled the clutch and coasted to a halt, with the bike still idling but sounding terrible. she died after a few seconds.
kicked her through slowly a few times, nothing has seized, but the compression is low... didn't try restart her.
i reckon its a cam/rocker issue.   8)

I would have put the XR on my bakkie no problem...next time!

Heddles....i have done name tags in the past & will do again in the future! You don't strike me as the shy type though...

Ha ha ha... Nope, I am not. Just would have been nice to know, before you start digging around the whole bunch and miss most of the guys.. Name tags make a load of sense...
