Two punctures before wellington, four more flats before I even left wellington. Nothing left of my tubes, and no chance of getting home.Eventually I sat on the side of the road and just gave up.

At that point a complete stranger came up to me and offered to put my bike on a trailer and take it from Wellington to Milnerton.

A huge thank you to Reggie and Hans, the swiss Triumph crazy dude, who towed me back home. I didnt think that people like that still exist.Wow.What a guy.

Geesh man, and i thought everything was sorted before Wellington, pressure was stable etc.
You need to check the inside of your tyre, I am sure you WILL find something!

Remember to your best photos on the photo competition link.  There is a Kriega R15 rucksack and hydro bladder to be won.   The topic is “the essence of off road and adventure riding”

Great Lefless , but what do I have to do to win a HP2  :p  ;) because after riding with Berm Rooster I also want one , I mean unlike mine , his bash plate is still pretty and his bike can make a u-turn in a narrow track ( although him being the rider probably helped  ;D)  , and then there were the other beauties  :drif:  yours, Fenderbender, Jacko and Wilhelm 's HP2's  . I think the HP2 was the bike of the event  :thumleft:

Wanneer word die troefkaarte op die tafel gewgooi?
ONE OF A KIND of is dit 'n FULLHOUSE...... :bootyshake:

ROYAL FLUSH !!!

Was meer 'n (un)ROYAL FLASH !!!  :peepwall:

For context: The British described Sarah Baartman's genitals as like an apron, "skin that hangs from a turkey’s throat."

Stoetie se vlermuis is gesien en ek slaap nou in vrees.

Ja,at this stage I think that trac mac can check out the tyre and fit an enduro tube.I am going to count patches tomorrow, just for fun.

Abel & myself had a quick brunch in Ceres on Friday. Where the road splits between the Eselbank and Katbakkies routes we had to decide.....and the more conservative option won.
So Katbakkies it would be:

That meant we had lots of time on our hands, so we stopped and waited for more dogs to arrive. Just to get some pics.
So we waited.
And waited.
No such luck.

After 40 minutes in the blazing sun we decided to carry on.

Charlie 650. Steeds in ICU, maar gister afgehaal van ventilator. Dinge lyk beter.

012B.jpg

We stopped at the R355 and Bradleys, Pistonpete and N[]va pitched up with the bakkie (and ice cold beer).

018B.jpg

From there it was plain sailing to the bash site, we turned out to be early arrivals and got a good headstart on the refreshments. Was good to meet old and new friends.
