8. KtmKev for having the best located beach house, with the most awesome twee spoor leading up to it , and for making us laugh so much with his fooling around with Adv Hunter's girlfriends beanie ;

8. Kodgehopper for the dryest one -liners , he should have his own Savanna Ads;

9. Adv Hunter for being saying the most inappropriate and funny things;

10. Lord Knormoer for being the best sweeper ever;

11. Robin Brown for looking so good in ski pants, and being such a sweety and all round great guy to have on the trip;

12. Andy 660 for being a great ride and route organiser;

13.  The whole group , for being so chilled .... except when riding , exactly as it should be  .  :ricky:

I didn't take many photo's at the Bash , but here are superten enjoying a veggie burger and Andy a real one. The food was delicious  :drif:  Sitting at the fire chilling the next morning , Grant and 2 S Dan and the next one Grant and KtmKev. Campsite.

Barend , owner of Doringkloof, who had a head -one bike collision with Adventurer on a dirt road corner between Willowmore and Prins Albert. Both of them were out cold with concussion, and in hospital for some time , Barend was on kidney dialyses for 2 weeks and lost the lower part of his leg. Eek, I often think of them when I go around blind corners, and try and stick to the very inside corner.

The next morning , the more chilled riders went for a little walk up a hill  ;D and the rest rode to Patensie through Baviaans. Man that is an amazing route , I can ride it every day.  Was stuck behind the Side car for a bit , but what a pleasure watching them move. While we have the luxury of changing lanes , they just go for it , was awesome seeing them racing down the Kloof one wheel up , then the other one up , sometimes they lean just one one wheel , the other one in the air.  I think that takes guts.  :thumleft:

Met up with RedRum, Scrat, Dr Dirt and  Loki_CPT intermittently , sometimes a bit close for comfort.   :imaposer: I almost rode into 2 of them when they were standing taking photos in the reeds at Smitskraal taking pics, haha those rocks were big and awkward to ride over.

Top of the mountain. Grant had a scary moment when he was riding up the cement slabs and 2 GS1200's came down , one in each lane and they were too scared to break or change lanes and he had to move off the road on the drop side , eek. All he saw were the rider's eyes, big as saucers.  :imaposer:

We had some other minor incidents, but made it safely and loved the ride . Was some of the best riding of the trip.  :ricky:

Kodgehopper on his Super Tenere ,and Grant and Adv Hunter .

Oppie and his Tenere , one is at Smitsdrift coming back, when it was rescue bike-out-of-the-reeds time.

Last 2 is re-group before heading back to camp, what a beautiful place , Baviaanskloof and cannot wait to go back . :thumleft:

All good things have to end , and so it was with the Bash. We had a great ride back , and had brunch at Angie's G -Spot . We were blessed with beautiful weather and almost car-less roads.  Awesome .  :ricky:
