:imaposer: :imaposer: :imaposer: :imaposer:

Daai stoetie is n jintelman OS. ;D :peepwall:

:3some: >:D

LS checking in

a ride report will follow soon
there will be stories of wind-pumps with no 'off' switches, declining Afrikaner monuments, amazing wheelies, our fearless leader on a Honda, Wild Dog sobriety, cold mornings, boere discovering that he has average build, amazing landscapes, the state of technology in the Transkei, and miniscule landmarks.

ALL of which will be true!

Our trip took us anti-clockwise around Lesotho. The magenta route was the trip to the bash. Blue was the route around Rhodes and Tiffendel. Green was the return route home.  Our trip was basically 6.5 days with real great company.

On Wednesday we left JHB, slabbing it to Winburg where we kuired and slept over to start dirt on Thursday morning.

Jayden learning to ride behind Oupa. With all the standing Oupa had to do, on serious technical sections. Jaydon got kinda in the way, up-front. In any case he has to learn to ride pillion behind oupa, because soon he will be too big to sit up front.  (problem now is he falls asleep on the tank when things get boring. On the back he cant do that anymore.)

North of Ladysmith, I entered a sharp bend with a fine shale surface a bit “hot”. Decided to do emergency braking but failed to stop in time. This is the braking streeeeeeeeeeeeep.

I came to a halt, inside the hole, and fell over to the right.  Picked the bike up and rode it spin, spin out of the hole.  Spectators were soon to arrive to see the action. No damage except the ego.

Great RR Tweets.  Just like it was. Thanks for everything you did.  Your planning and running of the trip was top notch.  It was a lekker experience going with all you guys.  That little man Jayden really is a biking hero.

Thank u Tweeters. U go beyond just doing it..always the extra mile..that little tea setup you pull out in the middle of no-where....great memories. And as for Jayden..I dreaded having such a young child along..but he was amazing. No tantrums, never tired from riding....he can ride along anytime!!!! Great trip!
