Its safer that way for most.

Can you maybe explain why I can see most of the pics here but only now and then I can see anything?

Anything to do with the size of da pics? We all use imageshack as I understand.

Sorry for the stupid question but I really am a bit dom with rekenaars.

Sorry, guys etc. I used a local image hosting thingy for these. I'll put them on imageshack shortly.

Very strange

I can see the pics with my desktop computer but not with my laptop
both machines are logged onto the forum through the same office network

could it be a setting?

A lot of things go into a picture being displayed on your screen, starting with the URL you enter, then it resolves that name to an IP address out on the net.
The internet works on this to find the server you want. There are network and host components of the address based on masks that route the request to the required server.
Once its there is starts a connection that then sends pics to a listening port on your machine.
Do a netstat on your PC to see what ports are working.

At any stage this could get blocked or not complete properly.
The DNS process works on unreliable protocols and a system of redirects to the correct SOA and these often get blocked.
We have worked out your current issue is a DNS one, the name is not being resolved to the IP address. So... You should see them all now when I use the address and not the name.

Each issues is different, sometimes its DNS, sometimes a content rule on a proxy, sometimes a firewall.

The making of... Part 2

And home sweet home

As for the rest... What happened in Nam, stays in Nam

Excellent example of the effect of extended trips with lekker (not always healthy) eating and drinking habits.

That flatulence is amazing. See how the flames struggle to keep their natural shape against the "wind".
