So after a lot of up and down with corroding spokes on my T7 and been recoated (didn’t last either) Yamaha is now fitting stainless spokes, would have been what I would done form the onset but had to follow warranty dept “rules”
Now those pretty blue rims (front only) seem to be bubbling or chipping, not sure it’s chipping as the bike has not done any offroad. Yamaha warranty claim again and the feedback is no rim replacement but has to be powder coated. Now this is where I get confused, maybe because I don’t understand the process differences, but I always thought these rims are anodised. What would be the better option for longevity and also trying to maintain factory look as I like the blue rims.
