Canyon Village is right next door to Canyon Lodge where we were 2 years ago, it's a nice place and I'll have some sunrise drone footage soon.

I am in the 2nd last one so no one is really disturbed the next morning at 7 when I fly the drone ... this is the first lodge I see with a "No Drones" sign at the door. I ask for and get the OK for a 10min flight.

Organic transport.

Day 20 is a sad day as it sinks in that that's it for 2018. It's been an excellent trip, no tyre dramas like last year, no issues at all. The D324 to the C10 and ultimately the B1 is smooth and quiet.

Some locals wish me well on my way home. Thanks guys.

This is no way to treat a '58 Chevy ...

Some plugs, oil, tappet cover and ... na, maybe not ...

Last bit of Nam gravel.

The border is quick and painless. I thought that I'd stay over in Springbok but get there at 2pm, far too early so keep going ...

... not before I take 4 departure photos.

Clanwilliam looks healthy indeed.

This trip was 6604km, it was the best we have done by far and I really hope it has inspired at least one person to throw his **** on his bike and go. Thanks for riding along.

Great RR Bud thanks for making me "Lis" to go do it again.  ;D ;D ;D :ricky: :ricky: :ricky: :ricky: :imaposer: :imaposer:

Thanks and if all goes well, I will also be in the position to say " Lis" to go do it again. :laughing4: :thumleft:
Thank you for taking me along on your journey and well done RR as usual.

Jip - indeed a great RR and trip!!
Can't help feeling a bit sad it's over - for the partakers sake as well as mine...  :'(

Dis jammer.

That was a grand tour thank you for the "ride"

Nice. hell as i said when i left, i am still so bloody disappointed that i could not finish the trip together, Just looking at the footage of the FRC makes a "Ous" heart wish that i dident turn away, but yip it was a tough decision i made. In truth i almost turned around twice to go to the lodge and get you there buddy. But ja i new that would be foolish. Once again great RR.  ;D ;D :ricky: :ricky:

It's funny how most of the guys of a certain age have a piece of army kit as part of their camping equipment.
