....All 6 of us arrive "Happy, Safe & Sound" @ the Oasis. :thumleft: :thumleft: I will add that when "Myself, Buff & DougC" arrived,... "RR, Mudock & Mambat" were already on their 3rd or 4th round of some very welcome "Steering Dampers" > > ;D

Seriously though..... those 3 guys sure do know thier stuff & do not mess around when it comes to "Gravel Travel" :thumleft: :thumleft: :thumleft: :ricky:

BTW.. Dave,.... with the you guys out in fron most of the time, there is absolutley no way that we would ever get lost out there..... all we had to do was simply follow the never-ending "Roost Marks" you guys left behind as you exit each & every corner eepwall: :ricky: ot: ot: ;D

I am led to believe even the corners on Bains Kloof  :biggrin:

I killed my brand new Michelin Desert rear tyre, and took a fair chunk of life out of the front one on this ride; at that rate of wear I will not be able to afford too many trips a year

Certainly adds to the expense of the trip. Yet, I can't imagine your being content to ride any less aggressively. The fun you had pushing yourself to the limits, applying your skills and accompanying - or at times chasing - the KTMs was evident to us all!

The first was at that dam crossing and the second at the back of Kattebakkies looks towards the Karoo.

1. Shot this one on the way to Kragga Kramma

2. Bring it On and DougC doing some refueling at Oasis. Thanks to Gerrit for organising the fuel for us  :thumleft:

3. Rough Rider doing some night time repairs to his Husky. The sub-frame bolt had fallen out but it was sorted out in no time.

4. Now I know why Mambat rides a KTM's, check how they pull the chicks  :drif:

5. Getting creative near Eselbank.

6. Those KTM might be fast but we found their archillies heel, Murdock stranded on the N7 with a front flat  . FMG, it was hot out there.

Great RR , still enjoying it very muh  . I am smiling , as I have ridden with Rough Rider and know exactly how fast he rides  ,and am sure when Mambat is near he rides twice his usual speed. :imaposer:

Lekker fotos, I never tire of seeing fotos of bikes in and near the Cederberg , as everyone sees it through their own eyes and hence each person's photos are unique and special.

Thanks, Geeza! Progress with the leg is terribly slow (on Saturday it will be 5 weeks since the Atlantis incident and there is still a long way to go). I was both delighted and grateful when I was given the okay by the plastic surgeon's wound care nurse to go on the Cederberg trip.
