So after the original plan was to tow the bike to Nelspruit from Pretoria I wisely opted to rather drive it there.
I left Pretoria Saturday Morning round 09:00 AM and it was rather chilli.
The plan was to travel to Kaapschehoop via tar so I can meet up with two gents for a little scenic drive round the Kaapschehoop area round 12:00 PM.
The N4 was not busy so driving there was chilled and rather relaxed. But honestly it must be one of the most boring roads to travel along. The section from Bronhortspruit to Milly's is really so boring and if the wind blows it can really mess up the pleasures of riding, but what awaits you after this section is really worth every single second.
As you reach Milly's it is a small little stretch to the Waterval Boven area, from here it really becomes a biking haven. You can enjoy the mountain views, the lovely curvy roads and you can just smell the clean fresh air. Again the road was surprisingly very quite seeing that it is a long weekend for some of us. Before I knew it I reached the Kaapschehoop T/O. This was the first time for me in the area so I was super excited to see this little historic town.
Meeting with Hein and Colin at his restaurant in Kaapschehoop. (I saw some wild horses :biggrin
