Canola Run was as always awesome! Great muddy fun!
Would have done that loop 2 or 3 times if I could

1st pic of when we were still clean and dry

2nd pic below (taken from LanC's pics) is where we bought some real-estate when my skills ran out in that slither of mud on the side.
Thanks for the quick help in righting the steed (cant recall the names, sorry!)

If anyone has footage of that incident it should be entertaining to see.

That was Coxwain helping you up there.
I saw your wipeout happen but camera was not running at the time. It's amazing you did not connect with any other bikes or the fence

Hence me asking if someone has video; should be quite entertaining to watch that dance.

Thanks once again for the helping us up guys, much appreciated.  :thumleft:

Mud is no-one's friend. Glad it was not more serious as LanC notes

I heard from a reliable source that all my friends now own property in the area.

Now, own up, or I will spill the beans on your spills, and post the photos too...

OK, 1 so far...

Where are the rest, come boys, you cannot hide...

Does anyone have this route on google earth? I did not have my gps on the bike and now I am trying to follow where all we rode. I have about half of the route but the balance I simply cannot find.

Could have been GJ's sister, Kriek1? She overshot a corner on her 690. Happens every year. :thumleft:

@ Redrum, Goose & Coxwain......

Is this perhaps the spot where Redrum & his wife "Made their purchase on a fine piece of real-estate next to the fence?? This section of "Super slick Snot" was just after you took the right hand bend in the first photo..

I was a little way ahead of Goose when I went over this section of SNOT.... & still told Goose (as we had comms between us) to be on the lookout for this Snot section. :lol8: :lol8: :lol8:

I think our 'farm' is a 'little' on from this, but same road by the looks of it.

I think vid would have been epic of my attempts to not fall for some time time while overtaking some guys that were on the dry, safe portion of the road.

thanks for the pics of our homestead surrounds.  :spitcoffee:

Yep ...thats the spot . It was when Redrum hit the water and gunned the KTM ...the back wheel decided that it wanted to be up front.  :imaposer:

Fantastic! Thnx Johnnie Bok & organizers.

Once again, the Canola Run complied 100% with my 5-point criteria for a great outride:
1. cold beer
2. beautiful women
3. great route
4. beautiful women
5. cold beer.

But seriously, don't know how they do it but this run gets even better every year.

Nice pics here- who was the pilot on a new red Africa Twin - flew past me a few times  :eek7: Even made certain XT 600 riders :peepwall: look like they were looking for parking

While working through the footage of my helmet camera,  I spotted him come flying past the camera leaving a really nice long trail of tyre tracks  :lol8: :lol8: :lol8: :thumleft:

Here it is.... :ricky: ;D ;D ;D

Definitely looked pretty impressive seeing that nice loooooong "Track-Trail" just keep extending as he flew down the road :thumleft: :lol8: :lol8:
Dit is Scooterbike op die forum. Hy het die AT nou so 2 weke. Ek en hy het oppad huis toe bikes geruil en ek het nog nie so n lekker groot bike (behalwe my 690 natuurlik  8)) gery nie. Dit is defintief die "benchmark" in die groot bike kategorie.
