So there I'm on my merry way, commuting from Pretoria to jhb on my XT500, splitting two lanes at an intersection, turning right. I may have (but not sure) driftes into the way of the left hand lane (also turning right).
A guy (wam) hooted at me, and I friendly waved back (read: no abusive signs). He then, totally uncalled for sped up, knocked me from the left. Due to a miracle, I remained on the bike. I shouted at him through a closed helmet" Is jy mal?".
When I subsequently stopped at the red light (next intersection), he got out of his Nissan bakkie, ran after me and started puching me from behind, screaming: "Wat's jou fo@@en storie?"
I then decided to "run" like a bangat, as I forsaw nothing good coming from all this.
Must say, his actions were totally unsolicited.
Can still not believe that "my dam se ganse" (being a wam myself) would resort to such actions.
Well I suppose you get all kinds - probably latent aggression in him.
