Took the XR out for a spin yesterday and noticed that after stopping the engine, fuel flows from the carb overflow. I took the fuel cap off and there was a lot of pressure built up inside the Acerbis tank.

As soon as the pressure was released the fuel stopped overflowing. Is this just due to the combined engine temp and 45 degrees OAT or is there a vent blocked somewhere?

The cap has a vent pipe that only allows air into the tank (one way valve). Should it not release pressure build up as well?
