I think you did so much more than what could be reasonably expected, especially when things went a bit pear-shaped in the sand and dust, but thanks to you even the potentially bad bits turned out OK. Glad to hear that there was no serious injuries - apart from some liver damage.

I did not even notice the Wilddog sign when I parked, but when I saw it I photo'd it... and see the halo around the bike, it gives me a warm fuzzy feeling

Plothond you should have said who U were instead of just asking directions to the workshop and then you would have got a coffee wiff a BMW propeller on it which would have impressed you hugely and we could have looked at the new bikes and other interesting stuff...

Anyway if you would prefer to spend time at the workshop with Callie instead fear not I do understand... O0

It is actually the same spot of sand. This is where Supergirl took a dive. It was a very tricky section; because it is a hard packed dirt highway then all of a sudden you get this "patch" of sand. All the dust from the big group makes it more difficult.  Hope the arm feels better supergirl.

We had spoken so much about this weekend even the cat wanted to come with, she tried to sneak into the luggage.

We left too late to meet up at the startline, so we shot up the highway to Bela-Bela, hung a left and headed to Jackalsdans where we had 'reserved parking. ;D

Who needs a camel when you have a GS? ;D

We arrived so early we were almost in time for breakfast, the crowd rolled in, making us regret not having joined in somewhere earlier.

We rode the last section to the farm with the crowd, meeting up withn Stephan and Red in Northam, Stephen opted for the 'quad' for the weekend.
Plotwyfie pointed out a useful veranda where we pitched our tent, Ratel and Supergirl sharing the valued space.
That evening the usual entertaining karkpraat took place around a mother of a bonfire.

Gideon had this camera that doesn't appear to have worked.....

The next morning we were shown the new 'Zonkel alarm clock' a 12 gauge pump action. ;D

then it was KTM repair time, where do you 'slingerstart' this Katoom?

After a lekker breakfast we packed and departed for home, refueling ourselves and our bikes in Thabazimbi, yes dad, this icecream is VERY lekker!!! ;D ;D

A very lekker weekend, a few spills, some we ALL knew about, some were kept VERY quiet..... ;D ;D
I will have to have another 'KTM RECOVERY VEHICLE' decal made for Zonkelnut's Honda. ;D ;D ;D I think Funicide would rather have pushed his bike than be towed behind a BMW, can't say I blame him. ;D ;D ;D
Thanks to all that organised and took part in this monumental weekend. Roll on the 'Year End Bash'...
