Hi Guy's
This is a quick report on the ride we did to Giyani on Dec 8th that most you guy's could not attend due to bad timing, however it was excellent and nice to have the families attend as well so here goes...
Hitting dirt on the way to the campsite after an uneventful stint to Polokwane this is where the fun started...
Jaco on the 1200 crossing a bridge
Me on the Dakar
Arrived at the camp about 16:30 and temperature at 39.5!
The swimming pool was a HUGE relief!
Tent houses on the bank of the river
This where we stuffed our faces every night with delicious food!
At night we sat around the boma talking shiite and drinking beer!
First day of exploring the area
Conrad on the Dakie
Me and the kids at Dunlop in Giyani we took one of the support vehicles tire's in for repairs
After the tire was fixed we headed out to Thohoyandou dam!
The scoot's
One cool little dude
Some nice dirt to ride and bridges to cross
Man it was damn hot! Reaching up to 40 in mid day! luckily I had a water bladder in the back of my jacket to hydrate frequently we headed back towards camp for lunch about 14:00
