Maybe Speedyquip has some cheappie replacements - 40 rand each or something.

Fundurocators are about 200 each.

Shoe not bad at all.....

Genuine BMW?

Regarding the parts needed, some info about SpeedyQuip "replacements" vs Suzuki parts from agent.  As an example, I needed to repace my Djebel's clutch lever and I was quoted by Automotorcycles R279 for a clutch lever, yet at SpeedQuip I got a replica jobbie at R40 - same quality, same dimensions, etc, only no Suzuki part number  :mwink:,  Now I refuse to pay R239 for a 9 digit engraved number!

checked out speedyquip, unfortunately they don't have anything for a strom  ??? :'(

Insurance payment will be more

i only insure against theft in principle, though i'm sure my insurance is comprehensive.  i've been very lucky as i've never had anything stolen and claiming for small stuff is unnecessary in my opinion.  i will exhaust every opportunity to buy the stuff at reasonable price but might have to go the insurance route if all else fails.
