Yesterday I wanted to fit a new shock to replace the air shock, but the bottom mounting needs some machining, and very few of the other farkles I had planned materialized, so in the end I fitted a BMC filter and chopped 10cm off the @ Bro's exhaust and put that on the bike.
Me liked the sound, so I called Excalibur and asked if he was keen to ride today.
Off at 7am and headed for the Canal route. What a splendid day to be out riding - although there was a slight chill in the early morning air.
Excalibur and old faithful
We crossed over the dam – green greengrass water of home where more green **** was send downstream
Excalibur admiring the scenery
Man this is a filthy spot – the water is absolutely scary
|Check the state of this dam
The mother of all snails was trying to keep up with Dabulamanzi
Here’s things in perspective
Excalibur in da water
………and an action photo of me
We arrived at Beestekraal, k@k service but eventually we got things underway. Several dogs signed on the wall – sorry forgot to take a close up
Nice spot, but the service sucks
After breakfast we decided to head for the notorious Groot Klip
……..look at these miserable souls
Enjoying the view from the top of da Groot Klip
Roads were generally n a good condition
From the Groot Klip we headed east to Blue Moonlight Lodge to visit Bikermice and his son
He bought himself a lewensgevaarlik and fitted a few farkles this past week – check this Arpovic – sounds awesome and gives more horses
My riding mates
Enjoying a cold one or two
…..the 800 sounded so nice it was almost sodomized up da exhaust
Thanks for an excellent days riding :3some:
