The 890 went up the climbs effortlessly, happily purring along in second gear. The 15T sprocket I fitted made a huge difference!

That descent was in last Honda Quest. They had to ride up it though. It wasn’t easy.

I hadn't seen my brother [member=9149]Dwerg[/member] since December and since he moved to Hermanus earlier this year, I would probably not see him again until this December. He was on a road trip with his wife and we knew we might run into each other along the way. I was very happy to see him and we had a quick beer together next to the road in the middle of nowhere.

Up on the mountain the wind was pumping! It was an effort to keep the bikes upright and most of us were literally blown off the track at some point. Signs of what was to come later in the day was visible in the distance, but we didn't notice it...... YET!

Ek was toevallig laas sondagoggend deur Prins Albert oppad na De Rust toe en het al julle bikes daar by Lazy Lizard sien staan. Min het ek geweet dit is julle.
