Shadow can vouch if me going down was spectacular or not as he did not take photos of me wallowing in the water.

...
My boet you have some kind of uncanny 6th sense when it comes to finding the deep side of water crossings ;)
Lekker RR

Julle het n lekker dag gehad, ons was die vorige dag in daai omgewing om die dam en was soaking wet met die stroms oppad  gewees...area is baie nat....lekker pics :thumleft:

I only saw this thread now, and I can confirm that Porra's Plunge was spectacular - I thought him and the bike were going to disappear under water ! - so sorry there was no pic, or video ;D
The reason we watch Abre changing tyres is that he is so damned good at it, we can only gaze in awe..

I actually don't like fixing punctures. After last weekend my hands looked like I was in a bar fight.😆😆😆

Nee wat,ou Abre was n pro na die 2de keer. @McSack Porra chose a water hole on our 19Dec trip as well.

I moered neer in the mud, he chose the water that day.....

So what's the verdict on the little 400?
I personally think it fits you quite nicely and should be easier to manage than the 990 in the the more technical terrain.
